The first products were components and complete assemblies for KOMATSU MAYPRESS forming systems, and various other German press manufacturers. In 1981, Kaiser Maschinenbau GMBH became MAWI GmbH, which it has remained to this day. The continued success led to an exclusive supplier and service contract for MAYPRESS, KOMAY and KOMATSU presses and raw part shears. The core business continued to be the manufacture and installation of spare parts. This was quickly expanded by general overhauls and expansions, such as the installation of powerful electric controls.<\/p>\n

A second key business area was the trade with used presses. The experience gained in the service area was put to good use here: Used presses overhauled by MAWI quickly gained a good reputation, which is why this division was able to grow rapidly. From 2003, the second-hand trade was supplemented by the trading of new presses and coil line systems from Taiwanese production. Today we are the general importer for Chin Fong, Tomac, Ingyu and KOMATSU presses and peripherals. With this large selection of basic machines, we can now offer our customers a highly specialized production line that exactly meets their challenges. In the young and innovative field of servo presses, we have assumed a pioneering function in Germany thanks to our long-standing partner KOMATSU.
