The stator and rotor plates of electric motors and generators are a classic product for high-speed punching. Even small deviations in the tolerance can lead to eddy currents, which can cause overheating in an electromechanical component.<\/p>\n

Each motor or generator requires hundreds of sheets with an absolutely identical shape. This requires a production process that is designed for the production of large quantities in a consistent quality. This is where MAWI’s high-speed presses and punching machines are used. Technically, the MAWI high-speed presses are designed as eccentric presses. They enable particularly high stroke rates and correspondingly fast cycle times.
